Salad/Natural Dressings

1st Monday

Learn to make a rainbow-hued variety of flavorful dressings and salads. Rich in vitamins and minerals, these dressings and salads can be made in 10 minutes or less and can be made in advance. Salads and sauces will be made from the best nutritional lettuces and dressings from herbs, tofu, and vegetables.

Tofu/Wonder Food

2nd Tuesday

Come taste the food that is so universal, yet so delicious! Sometimes call" The Meat Without The Bone". Learn to make ice cream to seafood.

Pasta! Pasta!

3rd Wednesday

Pasta, perfect food for lunch or dinner. Everybody, young or old, likes pasta. You can't go wrong when you serve it. (example) Sesame Pasta w/Tomatoes, olives & Basil; Pasta w/Cilantro; Penne w/Eggplant, Mint & Romano; Fusilli w/White Beans, Veggie Sausage and Herbs; Wild Rice & Mushroom. 3 hours


Mock Meats

4th Thursday

These products are made from vegetable proteins and are very wholesome to be applied to the daily diet.. Learn to make breakfast patties and also burgers, also how they are used in main dishes. A basic stable to the diet when coming off of a flesh diet. 4 hours

 

Desserts - Do They Stay?

5th Friday

Learn how to make different desserts from wholesome foods using natural ingredients, no dairy products, no sugar, no eggs. Learn how using sugar and dairy products together can become deadly to your health.

Entree

4th Thursday along with Mock Meats

On those special days, are you wondering what to fix? Well, this may be the session you don't want to miss. Learn how to fix healthful Entree' and still eat nutritiously. Fix great vegetable entree's using fresh vegetables and soy products. 4 hours


Chinese - Wok Cookery

2nd Tuesday along with Tofu Class

Experience the delicate flavors of health-oriented Chinese cooking. You'll find wok cookery to be quick, delicious, nutritious and one of the most fuel efficient methods of cooking. Recipes include fried rice, tofu, vegetables, chow mien, steamed stir fry, egg rolls with sweet 'n' sour sauce . 4 hours

The Staff Of Life Gourmet Cooking School and Workshop Schedule for the year 2010 is as follows:

The 5 Days (7) sessions Cost per person $600.00

Classes will be 3-4 hours long. Check listing for the topics and length of each class. Classes start at 9 a.m. promptly. Call for reservations.
Space is limited.

Reservations must be made in advance, 2 weeks before the school starts.
Space limited! The Class will only take up to 6 students per session!

June  Veggie Meats/Entree - Learn an alternative for eating Meats! $35.00

July    Pizza! Calzones! - Learn how to make Gourmet Pizza and healthy Calzones stuffed with soy cheeses and veggies.  All made on a stone! How hot is that!  $35.00


August   Chili and Soups - Homemade Chili and Soup without meat! Great taste and full of flavor! Just right for those cold evenings.  $25.00

September   Desserts Do They Stay? -Made without sugar and dairy!  $35.00

October   Bread Making - How to make healthy bread without using eggs and dairy products. $25.00

Nov  Thanksgiving Dinner - Learn to make a healthy but delicious thanksgiving dinner. Complete with all the trimmings! $25.00
